DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 


These wooden manikins are used by artists to
study poses when drawing.  You may have seen
them in some wood-care-product ads...I actually
bought one (how conscious !) to get the right
dimensions for modelling purposes.  It cost less
than a music CD and looks very good on a desk...
The resulting model is a combination of CSG
and blobs, within a macro that allows me to specify
the angle of each articulation.

The painting in the back is a scan of a
watercolor/pencil abstract work of mine.

Rotring, pencils and markers are models I
made some time ago, and are availiable in
Micha Riser's Pov-Objects-Collection.

The simplicity of the scene allowed me to
add some focal blur (512 samples !), to enhance
focus on the main subject.
