===== From bobfranke@halcyon.com: An interesting study in reflection and refraction. I like the way you did the bricks, much better that using simple brick pattern pigment. I will have to remember this for the next time I use bricks. In considering your goal, a have no thoughts for improvement. ===== From ande8545@blue.unco.edu: I like the floor! The texture on it is really pretty cool ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: I love looking at reflection and refraction. I'd rather look at this than half-hearted attempts at perfect photorealism of humans. Theme score is a bit lower because a bit eclectic. ===== From johnson@pharmacy.arizona.edu: Well done 'first encounter'. ===== From grimmg@hotmail.com: No comment ===== From Sean_Hamilton@amrcorp.com: Where can I get some of that bow-tie tile?! My kitchen would look great in that stuff! :) Great job! ===== From caleb@chemeng.uct.ac.za: visually superb. I love the cracks in the bricks. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Good personalized "first encounter" theme. Brick floors look strange? I always thought a bowtie floor looked strange. ===== From MMandl@aol.com: its too off topic. nice refraction in the glass spheres. ===== From djconnel@flash.net: Interesting idea. I must say I really do like the floor -- it is a striking pattern, nicely textured. The "tribute" nature of the picture, as it refers to a quite early image, unfortunately hurts the tech score. Perhaps more of an elaboration on the original would have been more effective rather than a reproduction of the original. ===== From east103@dialaccess.com: I like the floor. ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: Nice idea but without the text, it doesn't communicate much. ===== From 101741.541@compuserve.com: ooooh ! this one brings many memories ! I wasn't tracing at the time (had a Sinclair Spectrum), but I remember well the original image shown in magazines, on amiga's screens... ===== From blaineholmes@hotmail.com: Nice scene, very simple, I like it. I love your tile floors! ===== From wozzeck@club-internet.fr: Oh yes, I like it! I indeed made my first pics with DBW-Render on Amiga in 89, and even if the pics were a bit different, the spirit is here!
