===== From cmorack@relex.com: Best thing is the textures, but they're ripped. So... it's a nice castle. At least it's not lit up like Chernobyl with a giant lens flare at the end of some stupid tunnel (it's a plug, Michal Ludwicki!). ===== From castlewrks@aol.com: Too dark. This imae does not have a central focus or apparent theme. ===== From agage@mines.edu: Very nice coloring and detail. The cobblestone is well done. More detail in the sky (clouds/stars) would have been a plus. ===== From Martin.Magnusson.7121@student.uu.se: Nice one. The image maps really work - they fit nicely into the scene. ===== From jjanger@mail.cspp.edu: I'd love to score this higher but the poor use of lighting to create confusing shadows hurt it too much. ===== From dormammu@erols.com: Nicely done. Oneof the better entries this time around. ===== From bill@apocalypse.org: too dark for me ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: Nice night image. Quite realistic. Might have been better with the camera pointing down a bit as the big area of dark above, is uninteresting. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: A pretty, dark, melancholic scene. Excellent detail and textures all around. Maybe needs something overhead -- the top half of the image is almost blank. Try a deep blue gradient sky instead of black -- it will silhouette the roofline, and make the image much more striking. ===== From djconnel@flash.net: An interesting study in lighting.... However, given the darkness of the scene, the sky should have been more interesting. Total black doesn't do the rest of the scene, extremely effectively modelled, justice. The prominence of the interior lighting is quite nicely done. Dan ===== From cfusner@enter.net: Very nicely constructed on the architechture, although the scene is so dark as to make most of the detail harder to see. Too bad it is such an overcast night (no stars or moonlight). ===== From r@207.232.193.166: A little dark. Notable for modelling ===== From r@dial-up30.webbernet.net: The lights in the window are very good. The spotlighted fountain is nice. Very good level of detail, but perhaps a bit too dark overall. Remarkable job of modelling. This comment by clem@dhol.com.
