I paid twenty pounds to get in to see a robot ventriloquist. The comedy aspect worked really well, with jokes about sprockets featuring heavily. However I was shocked, nay, appalled to see a speaker cleverly concealed in the robot's box. Needless to say I asked for my money back. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: The robot was created for a different scene, with simple primitives and a layout conducive to animation (I managed to make him walk quite convincingly). The dummy is obviously just the robot scaled down. The top hat, speaker, curtain, chair legs, seat and back are all points converted to lathes and prisms. The stage has a simple wood texture with warps (I don't know if they worked). The sign and box have image maps drawn (badly) in Photostyler.
