There were just no ideas to be had. Then, while reading a book by Scott Adams (Dilbert), I got an idea. He talked a little about gravity and Einstein's theory. It seems that one of the clasic ways to describe gravity is a bunch of steel balls on a rubber mat. Well, I can do a little better than that. What we see is the solar system and the inner 4 planets. The grid underneath them all is the way that you would visualize a gravity well. You'll notice dips under everything that creates gravity. The sun is obviously the deepest. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: Did a grid with Spatch, which is a reason all by itself to switch to Win95. Pulled a few places down to give me the dips. Then went out and got pictures of all of the planets and mapped em to spheres. So what you are looking at is the real thing, greatly simplified. Mercury is the small grey one on the far left. Up and to the right of that is Venus. Earth is in the lower right corner and Mars is in the upper right. And for those that will be tempted and look at this with a scientific eye, relax. It's not to scale. Nothing is. Not meant to be. This is just an entry becuase I got something that I could do with the small time remaining. I like the idea and I'm not ashamed of this, but I'd safely bet that others will have more complex images. Comments are welcome.
