IMAGE DESCRIPTION: A view from the viking chief's pavilion after a
successful raid. (It's probably rather anachronic, but we don't
really care, do we?)

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: I started modelling the 
horn and the decanter on a simple table, but then I thought it looked
a bit dull, so I created the sea and the ship in the background.
Then I thought that was ugly, so I countinued with the first scene,
which then rendered the file HORNTABL.JPG. Then I changed my mind
again and decided to compete with both of the scenes - with and 
without the background. I'll let you decide which one is the better.

Most of the scene is made with Moray. The horn, the hill in the back-
ground and the fringes are bezier patches, and the decanter is a rot
sweep. After I exported the scene from Moray I exchanged the original
boxes which made up the table with superellipsoids.
