TITLE: Snowglobe COUNTRY: Canada WEBPAGE: http://www.scar.utoronto.ca/~93johnst/raytrace.html RENDERER USED: Povray 3.0 for Windows TOOLS USED: HF-Lab, Winblob, LviewPro RENDER TIME: 5h 34m 15s HARDWARE USED: Pentium 166, 32M RAM IMAGE DESCRIPTION: A snowglobe stands alone in a corner of a room. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: The snowflakes were done using a series of randomly placed spheres. The snowman was made using Winblob. The bricks were also made with blobs, following the example of Jaime Vives. The heightfield which is used to make the ground in the snowglobe was made using HF-Lab. The rest was made using simple CSG. Nothing really too complicated here. Lview was used for a simple gamma-correction, to sign the image and to then convert it to JPEG.
