This picture has a lot of objects in it that are either made from covered with or filled with silicon. Some types of Pottery are baked with silicon sand glaze for smooth finishes. See the pottery in the glass case Silicon is used in polishes designed for marble type stones See the the two marble globes in the glass stands. The objects on the main table were first seen in a curio shop called "Silicon City" (really). The bitmaps were obtain from the BayWatch web site ( No further comment dared) DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: LAMP I started out with the lamp shade. The last version of it is made of two boxes scaled to glass plate size set at a 45 degree angle from each other this union was offset by .3 and rotated at 20 degree increments around a pole(skinny cylinder). The lamp table is a union of two very squished spheres, the inner(smaller) is metalic, the outer is a glass texture. There are 5 light sources inside the shade provide all the light for the image. The base of the lamp are more (bigger) glass plates rotated and translated in a spiral Table Basicily the same idea as the lamp base and table. Floor and walls Individual planks (boxes) with wood textures applied Globes Cylinders CGS - squished spheres unioned with the gold metal (more) squished spheres and 1 each not squished marble sphere. Picture Frames more ss Case NO SS Started out with large glass box CGS - to cut out the basic shape. Glass "plates" were then union in for the shelves sides and back. The pottery is SOR shapes.
