===== The planets are strangely close to each other ===== I like it, but it shows up very dark on my Solaris box, even after running it through xv to brighten the image I still can't make significant detail. The rings are invisible when viewed with a browser. For future contests consider making the images brighter for the sake of web-based voters. Other than that, it looks quite good. ===== A bit too dark ===== It is a little too dark. ===== Nice imafge. THe stars in the background could have used some help though. THey looked to sotck if you know what I mean. ===== An excelent all around image. The only thing I think could have been better would be to loose the twinkiling stars, they really kill the scene ===== I don't know if it's a PC aspect ratio problem or what, but on my Mac, the gas giant is elongated vertically rather than being flattened as would be a real gas giant. ===== It was too dark to give a make a qualified judgement. ===== Nice pieces. Somehow the picture doesn't meld as a whole though... I think the shadows are messy. ===== The main thing is that the different layers didn't fit together. ===== The eye tends to fall off the lower right-hand corner of the picture ===== The backgound and the foreground do NOT go well together. ===== Nice modelling on the tanks and walker. The planet looks too `near', though. ===== On the one hand you placed the gas giant in the middle with on the left and the right a star (or moon) which is very symetric. The colors are nice. Its a pitty we don't get a good (or better) look at the models, but the bad lighting is probably nessecairy for a ambush and the fact that it is on a far off moon. ===== Does the signature violate the " no post-rendering manipulation" rule? ===== Love those stars! ===== Technically good, the objects are impressive in texture and complexity, but the walker's form I think could use work. The terrain is also good. What I don't like are the twin suns. They look a little out of place, too contrived in their position on opposite sides of the planet and out of synch with the light source shining on the ringed planet. Otherwise, cool! ===== The moon surface is not convincing. The planet is good, though. ===== Bit Dark... ===== Good use of colours for striking visual effect. ===== Too dark to see much.... ===== The robots are nice, but textures for background and ground need clarity... what are you trying to do with them? What do they mean? Are they experiments with colors and such, or are they meant as more? ===== The only fault i can see is that the light source for the gas giant doesn't seem to be the same light source as what's hitting the wall behind, and the walker. ===== Reminds me of some Mechwarior game. Still any one can create somthing cool with stock models. (I had a friend use some Star Wars models and Electric Image and create somthing cool in 5 min.) The hard part is the modeling, and thats where the talent is. ===== i think the picture is too dim and the pattern on the suface(?) are too regular to look realistic. ===== The image seems rather two dimensional; the planet in the background looks too close and the lighting doesn't really define any forms. ===== Nice mechs. ===== good artistic level and technical too ===== great ===== Proportions between walker and tank look a little off. ===== Good, but a little dark. ===== The background is too symetrical. The Gas giant should be off centered by alot more than it is. ===== The background could use some work, the planet is nice and I like the textures on the ground. ===== Nice models, but the composition is severely lacking. Ground looks like fabric and I couldn't see the stars until I gamma corrected it to see if it looked any better brighter. ===== could have been brighter hard to make out details. ===== Would look better if there was only one star near the ringed giant... ===== Cool concept, nice machinery. The gas giant was nice, although placed a bit statically. The landscape was way too smooth and shiny.
