Name: Phil Mills File: PMWP.jpg Program: Alias Sketch! Comments: The name "Word Processor" always seems somehow wrong to me...too ambiguous, too grandiose, making claims it can't support. Some years ago, I read and remembered someone's E-mail signature that said, "Word processors do to words what food processors do to food." So, what you get is my picture of a symbolic, non-computerized word processor. Dump the contents of a dictionary onto a conveyor that carries them into a bowl full of spinning blades where they're mixed with a generous splash of purple to become the infamous, "It was a dark and stormy night." The scene was done in Alias Sketch! with no post-processing. (I started it in POV, but soon realized that the lettering would take far too long for me to create and arrange.)
