        I basically just put some easy concepts to good use.  The clouds
are pretty simple.  The water is just a bumps normal.  The pillar is
three height_fields that I made with Terrain Maker stacked up.  The balls
were done with Spiral, along with my own texture.  The light shining on
top of the pillar is simply a disc with onion pigment.  The moon is actually
a gif of Neptune mapped onto a sphere.  It all comes together rather nice.  
Maybe a little artistic talent seeped through my fingers.
