File: STEAKDIN.JPG ------ 640X480 JPEG Size: 112821 Date: 4/28/95 Time: 7hrs, 51min to render on a 486DX/33 with 8M RAM Author: Jon Parker AuthorEmail: jparker462@aol.com Short: technical study of a lovely steak dinner It took about 25 days for me to come up with an idea that I could manage to model in Moray that was fairly straightforward. Unfortunately this meant I had about five days to create it. So I threw all artistic composition to the wind (which for the moment is the hardest part I have about raytracing) and whipped up something relatively convincing in about 8 hrs of modelling. The textures are all drawn by myself using Tempra Pro, and the objects were all created with Moray. If I had more time I would have included kitchen utensils, maybe a glass of beer and maybe a nice healthy pile of mashed potatoes. This is my first entry in the contest.
