TITLE: Call Of Nature COUNTRY: Australia WEBPAGE: RENDERER USED: Max 3 TOOLS USED: Terragen Forrest Lite Plugin for Max Jetareyes Map of Africa - Courtesy of The General Libraries, The University of Texas at Austin. CREATION TIME: On and Off for 6 weeks HARDWARE USED: Celeron 366 VIEWING RECOMMENDATIONS: ANIMATION DESCRIPTION: Man goes in search of wild mountain gorilla. He finds one and discovers how scared he was... but not as scared as the gorilla! DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS ANIMATION WAS CREATED: Storyboard. I then identified all items that required modelled. I had modelled the gorilla and man before the competition. I had not textured or Bipeded them. I played with Terragen to produce 4 1280 x 600 images for the background. I then played with the Forest Lite plugin. I created a basic scene file which had all elements. Any actions by characters where animated in a separate scene with just bipeds. I added Jeta Reyes mouth animations as a layer over the top of the body animations. Lots of test rendering. Work out timing of scenes and actions Re-render, change, re-render, change......for about two weeks. Then I showed it to my family & friends at work (thanks Julie, Mary, Michele, Dale & Jerry) They provided me with criticism and suggestions. I applied what I could and what I wanted to. Next time I will do this step earlier as some of the suggestions and storyline ideas were good and I would liked to have used them.
