===== From brendanlemke@canada.com: I can appreciate the technical complexity of this animation but that only accounts for 1/3 of the marks... ===== From tim_cutho@smileyface.com: I don't want to be rude or anything, but to be blunt this video was boring. It's all very well showing this thing, but you didn't actually show how it worked or anything. Added to that you could have made the quality a lot better that that small bad quality mpeg. It still goes too fast to properly even see how fast it's rotating, yet at the end it seems to go 10x slower than the start. Also some other elements in the scene would make it a lot better. ===== From bill@apocalypse.org: Nicely done, but I have to admit this bored me (sorry). Something to spice up the scene and what's going on would have been appreciated. ===== From ian.print@ntlworld.com: Interesting and different idea. Not a lot of story though, and it lost a lot in artistic merit. Need textures on the floor and background. Also the top doesn't take up much of the screen size - it's mostly blank. Could have done a closer shot. I know from your notes that it is actually slowed down, but it doesn't look like it - it looks pretty much normal speed to me. There is a bit in the middle where the top does nothing but stay in the same place for 30 seconds, which is rather dull (even if that is what really happens!) ===== From thomas_4d@hotmail.com: movement is the best out of all the animation ( including my ) pitty it's as boring and all hell sorry :) ===== From lou_bruce@yahoo.com: While the top is fascinating and your understanding of the math is remarkable the animaion is not very entertaining.
