===== From dearmad@sapere.com: I couldn't excuse not finishing the story within the confines of the contest, sorry but you lost a *little* for that. That being said awesome character work, enjoyable and slick. I upped your technical here mostly but artistic as well- because I know how hard a technical feet designing them can be and pulling them off- which you did. Concept is lower because well... not much innovation there and your story was incomplete, I'm just not enthusiastic about trailers when it comes to this category. I'm being so hard on you because I think youscored second or first highest with me... ;o) ===== From chris_darcy@yahoo.com: Nice one. Animation is nice and smooth. ===== From english@spiritone.com: This is very well done, and could be the basis for a full length animation. I like the technique as well. ===== From michaelsobers@mindspring.com: The cartoon effect adds a nice touch. ===== From gsingelm@acm.org: I'm always slightly less awed when I see what kind of highest end equipment go into a piece like this. still, very good work. quite convincing movements, amazing face, good eplosion. will your next one be a toon again? looking forward to it. ===== From thechip8@yahoo.com: Wow. Awesome looking security guards. Great Job. ===== From tek@evilsuperbrain.com: Amazing, I can definitely see the resemblance to Aeon Flux. I love the subtlety in the animation, like resting his hand on the door of the lift as he backs in. And that explosion is superb, I would never have thought toon shading would work on special fx, but it does! (BTW, mpeg compression really doesn't cope well with sharp edges and flat colours, it's designed to mimick photographic images. This is probably what caused you problems compressing the animation :-) ===== From lou_bruce@yahoo.com: Good models, excellent animation. Story was a little cliche. I didn't like the toon shader, although it was very good at the comic book effect. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Wow, the toon shader has an amazing effect on the power of the animation. Fine pacing and great storytelling. Very fluid movements, especially in the "sneaking" walk and the fingers on the bomb. A little thin on plot, but who can fit much plot into a 36-second animation anyway? ===== From file: Animation is definitely different and unique. cut ===== From file: It's (as allways) an incredible work,
