TOOLS USED: , HF-LAB, POSER 2.0, IMAGINE 4.0, SMACKER, AVI2MPG, 3DWIN FOR WINDOWS, galaxy.inc(Chris Colefax). CREATION TIME: Three months HARDWARE USED: P200 MMX RAM 32 MB VIEWING RECOMENDATIONS: 24 frames/sec. ANIMATION DESCRIPTION: When the light of the day disappears, it is the moment in the one that the beings of another dimension leaves its castle to carry out new conquests, they are the feared Snakes. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS ANIMATION WAS CREATED: To make this animation, the first thing was having a model that could be articulated. This model was created in POSER 2.0 by modifying one of which already existed so that its appearance was more muscular. Then, I exported the model to .DXF format to be able to read it and work with it in IMAGINE 4.0 for MS-Dos where I built the arms and legs articulations to be able to rotate it. I exported the model to POV 3.1 and I began to work in order to discover the rotatin angles by making many tests until I was able to make him run and swim. This was, without any doubt the most difficult part. When I finished it, I lacked a scenary for the army to be placed, building the montains (with HF-Lab), the castle and the water (with POV 3.1). The only thing to do now was wait and see how it worked. I have used 551 frames with the clock changing from 0 to 551. I send the files that generate the scene, except the human model (it occupies a lot of space) and the values of the rotations (since my will is creating a complete bookstore of movements which once finished will be published in http://usuarios.commm.com/gaus ). However, if anyone wants the values which I have up to now, they could be asked in the following address: antonioanton@mixmail.com I will be able to answer any e-mail from 1st September 1999 onwards since I am not engaged to internet. Thanks to: -JMMP from the PCMANIA magazine, since it was him who offered me the idea of animating characters by POV - Victor Barbero for his advice on the texture of the skin. - Carlos Monterde for bearing me. - Chris Colefax for galaxy.inc
