===== From agage@csee.usf.edu: A good first entry. I did notice that there were a few lights, which seemed to be on the side opposite the moon, so the lighting is a little uncertain, and the metal surfaces could have been made more reflective and more specular. Also, for an animation that seems to be made to loop, there is a flag in POV-ray for cyclic animations that would make the jump from the last to first frame a little less obvious. Either way, I look forward to seeing your next submissions! ===== From davew@sheaarch.com: At least make a better camera path. ===== From Martin.Magnusson.7121@student.uu.se: Not bad at all. The wood texture looks good. You should have turned anti-aliasing on though. ===== From arcana@sinbad.net: Seemed a little washed out. Like looking at it through a gauze film. ===== From clem@dhol.com: Modelling is ok. Textures and color choice are rather strange. That noisy ground plane texture is a poor choice when you are doing mpeg. Starting out ok. Next, you need to work on storytelling and backgrounds and texture realism. By the way, if you have something with a reflective texture (like a metal) you need to have some objects for it to reflect, even if they are off camera, to make the texture look right. ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Not much of a story. ===== From ianshumsky@hotmail.com: Some nice detail on the music box, but I found the image mostly washed out. Is you gamma set correctly?
