DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS ANIMATION WAS CREATED: A venerable old Amiga died making this animation! Which is why it isn't rendered at a higher resolution. Set your viewer to loop / auto-repeat to get the intended effect. The modeling and animation were done using an Amiga product called Aladdin 4D. This is a nifty little commercial app. that features heirarchical path-based animation, support for using animations as texture maps, and several other innovative features not usually seen in ~$200 packages. The sun is a Aladdin "gas" object. The animation was converted to mpg using MainActor running on a windoze box.
