re:August Contest-Alien Cities

  My picture represents an small alien city and its own power plant.

  The city contains over 120 small buildings and several other large buildings.
The city is covered by a protective shield.  The city is supported by its own power
plant which is also covered by a shield.  A defense system is located in front of the 
city.  The defense system is firing at the viewer as if you are a danger to there
population.

  I made the ground from an image map of lava rocks which I found on the Internet
somewhere(I don't remember exactly where).  I then applied a second texture over top.
The second texture is the Apocalypse texture which I made transparent so you could see
rocks beneath.

  I compress the picture to a JPEG files and it turned out kind of crappy put I'll  
submit it anyway.  
  
  This is only my second full scene that I have done on POVRay, but I think I'm 
progressing pretty good.  If anyone could give me any constructive criticism I would
be very grateful.  Thanks.
